We conducted a survey in Tonk District and City area on livelihood status of women. We found that most of the women are doing Bidi making activity. This is the only source of their income. Their working conditions are very poor and they are facing many health issues due to this work.
We met with several groups of women, talked with them and aware and encourage them to join us in Sanitary pad making project. This project will provide them best self-employment opportunities in good working conditions. Total 428 women gave us their consent and documents to join this project
